It’s rare for a doctor to spend time with patients exploring their wellness goals, diet and nutritional needs. As an Optometrist, Iridologist & Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, I create a supportive environment that enables you to articulate and achieve your health goals. Throughout my education, I have been exposed to the most cutting-edge eye and dietary theories and studied highly effective coaching techniques to help you find the right lifestyle that works best for you.

The difference in your workup is that I address the entire body.  Each patient receives a nutritional plan according their own unique colored part of the eye called the Iris.  The Iris has been used for centuries as a map of the entire body to discover imbalances and genetic health tendencies.  We use this information during the regular eye exam to create health plans that are fun, easy and therapeutic.  In the end, patients are able to understand how their body works and what it needs to get healthy.

Most approaches to health dwell on one part of the body and use medications to solve one issue. As more issues arise, more medications are used to solve them.  Although I do use medications when necessary, I also understand each symptom to be a sign of a whole body imbalance.  So while treating the eye medically, I educate my patients on how to address the imbalance with food, herbs and lifestyle.   They learn to listen to their own bodies and understand how to give it what it craves.  My training allows me to support people in making small changes that can help them look and feel better, become more energetic and decrease dependencies on unhealthy habits.  Instead of creating lists of restrictions and good and bad foods, I coach my patients to explore basic improvements and implement gradual changes during our work together. As these pieces accumulate, my patients find the changes collectively create a much larger impact than they originally expected. We work on what you want to improve, and within the circumstances of your unique situation.  AND ALL THIS WITH AN EYE EXAM TO BOOT ;-)
